Labor Day Part 2 !

Labor Day part 2, was spent in American Fork canyone doing some rock climbing. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but what can I say, I can't do it all. After cleaning up Braelyn, I had her all nice and clean, and guess what. Yep girls will be girls, and I guess it isn't just boys. Well you get tired of watching them every ten seconds, so we just let her loose, and she had fun. They got enjoy being kids. Below is pictures of her all dirty, and then some fun ones of Scott, my brother Ammon belaying Scott, and then Braelyn helping Ammon, and then our friend Kyle. We had a lot of fun, and our friends Steve and Keri were around the corner on another climb, with their three kids. My parents even came to support and watch, it was very relaxing except when you would climb. I haven't gone climbing with them, because it is hard with a kid, but I actually tried it and I didn't do too bad, but it had been over two years since I have done it. So I guess E for effort. I had fun.

I didn't do anything mom. Right !!!

Labor Day Event

For Labor Day we met up with some family friends made some yummy breakfast and then played volleyball. It was a lot of fun but really hot. So Braelyn had fun at the park there, and then as we were relaxing after volleyball, some kids were playing under a really big pine tree, and of course Braelyn likes to get dirty. Her hair had gotten wet from the drinking fountain, so the dirt just stuck to her, and below is the results of her playing. She is not afraid to get dirty. She loves it, I guess she takes after me. Yeah !!! Watch out mom and dad.

Finally I have updated our blog !!!! WOW

Hey everyone, I just want to apologize for taking so long to update our blog, we haven't had the internet and so we got it up and running, and so I will do better at updating. Just to update everyone, we moved to Utah 3 months ago, and stayed with our good friends Andy and Jenny Smith, they are awesome, then we moved in with our parents in springville. Scott got out of Home Depot and wanted to work for himself, so we had the opportunity to move up to Wyoming where my parents were building there log home. We worked with them for awhile, and had some fun plans, but unfortunetely some things fell through and we lost on some investments, and basically we had to start all over. My Parents bought a business in Springville, and so we all moved back here to Utah. So now Scott is still working on starting a business and helping my parents in the mean time. We have had an interesting first half of the year, but things are going a lot better for us. We are having a lot of fun with my parents, and my brother Ammon. We are so thankful for them and all that they have done for us. Things would have been a lot harder if they hadn't helped us out. We want to thank all of our friends and family for all of the support and concern for us, and we hope we can be there for all of you in times of need. Thanks so much and we look forward to keeping up on this and keeping in touch with everyone.

This is a little taste of the kind of work we have been doing. They are called knoxs. They are the end part of the arrow, where the string goes to shoot them. We pull them apart and sort them out, and that is our job. We both work on it, to get it done, so we hang out in the garage a lot. Braelyn is a good sport. We have most of her toys in there so that we can both work. Below you will see how it works. She does pretty good. She loves being outside. So know you have a look into our work environment. It has been fun having Scott around, and being together as a family a lot. Braelyn loves having her daddy around, and so do I. Thanks Scott for all you do, and I love you so much.

Skydiving Adventure for the Holbrooks

Scott's dad has wanted to go skydiving for awhile, so the day came and he had some good support from his kids to go with him. It was a lot of fun to be with everyone. This is a group picture of when we just arrived. I thought it would be a good idea just in case.

These are some fun pictures while we were waiting for them to get geared to fall out of the plane. Notice the picture on the right. Yeah for the Holbrook side who is that in between Scott and Braelyn? Any guesses........ Malika , yeah your amazing uncle DOUGY!!!! I really loved this picture especially with the extra set of teeth.

Scott, Doug, and Ashley were up first, so here they are getting ready, and getting good instructions on what to do. These are their awesome tandoms.

This is a cute picture of Braelyn waiting for Daddy. She had a fun time watching the airplane take off and come in again.

I love these pictures of Grandpa and Braelyn. She was really good at letting them hold her and playing with them. She is still looking for Daddy and pointing at the plane. She had fun with Grandpa and her Aunts and Uncles.

Braelyn is really good at giving kisses, so I told her to give Grandpa kisses and she just looked at him like where do I kiss him? We were laughing so hard because she is not used to beards, and so she gave him this look for a few minutes trying to figure it out. Good thing she finally figured it out. She gave him a kiss on the lips. Good job Braelyn for figuring it out.

Finally the first group made it SAFELY.!!!! However some of them had some good landings. Doug came down really fast. I think they all landed on their butts. Hopefully it didn't hurt too bad.

All right TB, LeAnn, and Alli were that last group to go and they were ready to go, since they got to see the first group go.

YEAH !!!! They all survived, and all had so much fun. Alli had a good landing, but hopefully it was worth it. I am glad that they all got to go. It was everyone's first time except for Scott. I took Scott Skydiving for Valentines Day when we were dating, so he said it was funner the second time, well the Holbrooks will have to go again.

Braelyn was glad to see Daddy, and it was really fun to see him with his family having a good time. It is fun getting together with them. Thanks TB for wanting to go and putting this together. It was a blast for them and for us to watch you guys.

Family time !!!!!

These are just some fun pictures taken recently. It is fun to get pictures with her daddy and me, because they just grow up so fast, and they are great for scrapbooking. They change so fast and we are having fun with our little family. She sure is getting spoiled though. We are just taking it all in before we decide to add to our family. I can't believe she goes to nursery in 1 week. YEAH !!!!! I can't wait, as well as I am sure she can't wait either, no more being quiet and holding still.

Cousin Time !!!!!

My sister Eileen came down for two weeks from Oregon, and brought her two cute boys Wyatt and Dylan. We had a lot of fun with them, they were really cute with Braelyn, and these first pictures were taken right when they came. They missed each other and it had been a while since they saw her. She wasn't even walking when we went to Oregon last. Below are just some random pictures of wrestling, ring around the rosies. We had so much fun with them.

Where did the rabbit go?

I love this one of Braelyn. We put her stuffed animal in the back of her pants, and it just goes to show how padded diapers are, because she played for a long time with that rabbit in her pants, and never noticed. I finally pulled it out. It was pretty funny to watch her.
