Music Time at the Library !!!!

Every Wed. and Thurs. we go to the Library for music and story time. It took Braelyn several times to get involved. So it is fun to see how she has changed and they can sit on this blanket and then they will do the actions to songs, and it has been fun for her and me to have something to do together. I suggest everyone look at there local Library and see what they offer. It has been great for us, especially with only having one child and getting her around other kids, plus it is free, and we do it twice a week.

It is fun to see her stand up and do the actions with the teachers.

I love how she likes to go sit so close to people, but it is good, because she is usually shy.

Five of the kids got picked to help with a sond, where they would count down and grab a stuffed animal off of the table. Braelyn loved that, except for she probably wanted to keep the animal.

Some Pictures from our Anniversary Trip !!!!!

These are a few pictures from our little weekend get away for our anniversary. Scott's mom Kaye and Kent live in Cedar City, so we got to go have a little trip. We had a lot of fun, and Braelyn sure loved Grandma and Grandpa, as you can see below she took good care of them, and gave them lots of loves. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa for a wonderful weekend.

It was funny because we watched a Signing Time of the outdoors and so when we went to Grandmas house, it is full of animals, and she just loved doing the signs for all of them. It was great.

*********Happy Anniversary Scottie *****

Well we had our 4 year anniversary on the 12th, and to celebrate we went to Cedar City and stayed with his mom. We had a really good time and it was just great to get away. It is a perfect trip only being 3 hours away. It was nice to have time together and we had fun driving there and back, and had some good talks. We currently live with my parents and Braelyn is in our room, so having time together is hard, and so when I say that we had some good talks, it is because we don't get that much. We have gone on more dates, and realize how important it is to have those. So we had a good day, and mostly celebrated it last weekend.
I just want to share my Love for Scott, and all he does for Braelyn and I. We are lucky girls. He has worked really hard these last few years, leaving Home Depot and being self-employed. Things are looking good for us and Scott is working on some things that should be happening in a few months. I feel like all those out there that are in the inbetween stages of life, not knowing where you will be. We have learned a lot and have been greatful for everything, even if it isn't much right now. I am so Thankful for my parents and all that they have done for us. They are the best.. I love my inlaws as well. We are very lucky to have great parents on both sides that we can get along with and have good times, plus Braelyn loves them all so much, and that is important for her and them.
Well Scott thanks for all you do, you are an amazing husband, and a perfect daddy. Braelyn is a lucky girl to have you as a dad. These four years has been amazing and we have been through a lot together, and have a lot more to go through. Bring it On !!!!! Hee Hee............ Well thanks for tuning in with The Holbrooks

Four Generations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in December when we went on our trip, Scott's mom wanted to have a picture since we were all together of four generations, so I just wanted to share this, since I don't get to put much of Scott, and his family. Scott's Grandma is the sweetest thing. It is great because she is the only Grandma I have, and it is nice to have her. Braelyn had a lot of fun hanging out with both of them, and it was funny because they both forgot how busy kids are, and so I am sure they were worn out by the time we got back. Just before we left Braely was just everywhere opening doors, drawers, the whole bit. It was funny to watch her.

Trip to Heber !!!!!!!!!

I just found these pictures from a little bit ago. Braelyn and I went to my sister Emily's home in Heber, and had a really good time. We just played games, including nintendo, which the two oldest boys and Emily and me played different games against each other, and then played some Fooseball. It was a lot of fun to see her and the boys, and for Braelyn to hang out with her cousins. Jarek who is in the second picture is a week younger. So they are close in age. It was fun being pregnant with Emily and sharing that. Love ya Emily and thanks for the fun. We will have to come visit soon.

I love these four boys, and they are really well behaved boys. Thanks for playing with us, Love you guys.........

Play Time With Mommy !!!!!

Braelyn loves playing around and having fun. She sure gets bored quick, so I have to be on top of things and be creative. We go to the Library twice a week, and I just put her in Gymnastics, which is once a week, and then we stay busy at home. She loves to play Hide N Seek, which she loves getting scared, and then she loves learning, so we have DVD's, Puzzles, and Books. She is a lot of fun, and keeps me from being lazy which I do that every once in awhile. It truly is amazing having kids. As much as it is hard sometimes, I just look at her when she is sleeping and think how Lucky I am. She knows that she is loved from Scott and I too, and loves every minute of it.

There she is with a treat in her hand, how convienent. Between my mom and I it is a lot. I know bad habit.................

The best is all the hugs and kisses I get throughout the day. She is the best at that, and gives them to everyone..........

Yeah, so I am not exactly sure what she is doing, but she is creative. She also thinks she is pretty funny too.............

Braelyn is a Big Girl Now !!!!!

So last Thursday Braelyn came up to me and said potty, so I asked her if she wanted to go in the toilet and she said yes, and that was the start of Potty Training. I decided that this is it, and no going back to diapers, so we gave the rest of our diapers away to get rid of temptations, which I had resorted to before on my attempts, but this time I did it, and the first day was a lot of accidents, the next better, and then by the fourth day she had had ZERO accidents, we couldn't believe it, by then she would even tell us that she had to go potty. She is just so amazing, on how quickly she catches on, and she turns 2 in March. So she hasn't had any accidents since, and it feels great to not worry. I can run arrands and do stuff without problems. Way to go babe, and we just love her so much, and the entertainment we get with her. Below are a few pictures on her cute little toilet, and then with some pants on. You know it is amazing how loose those pants get without diapers, but her little bum is so cute in them ... Oh and for being a big girl, we went to get some underwear for her to pick out, and they didn't have Tigger and Pooh, so she picked Elmo. No Dora or Princesses, it was Elmo.

Braelyn is pretty proud in this picture, but of course we all make a big deal when she goes, and she loves it......

These pictures were taken on the 5th day, so I finally put pants on her, and I just loved how cute she looked.

This is how she usually sits, and I have to remind her to put her legs down, but at least she knows what to do
